Situated on the banks of the magical Sawkill Creek, Bearsville Park is fully equipped with comfortable seating, an outdoor stage, a romantic arbor, modern sculptures and a woodland walk awash with history and stories about Woodstock’s iconic musical heritage. It has its own outdoor bar and space for multiple wedding tents of giant (or smaller!) proportions, making it an ideal setting for both your wedding and a cocktail party. Each of the 12 personal-seating areas with bluestone patios and luxury couches has its own private set of speakers to provide top quality acoustics. Accommodates up to 800 people.

Bearsville Theaters’ newly restored 18th Century “Dutch Barn” is a state-of-the art venue and theater space for weddings, concerts and productions. Our spectacular, yet intimate, Mid-Century Theater offers a grand setting for a stunning wedding reception. Your guests will experience an all-round immersive experience of sound and light while surrounded by our beautiful décor. Majestic lighting from five magnificent chandeliers and two art deco stage lights adorn the room and create a truly impressive theatrical experience to make your wedding reception perfect in every way. Can accommodate 150 dinner seating and 350 for concert seating. Full size stage and backline available. In addition inside the theater there are 3 green rooms, perfect for the wedding party and getting ready. These include restrooms with showers, a full kitchen, and laundry facilities.

Our 40’ x 15’ Theater Deck adjoins the Lounge and is the perfect space for friendly informal gatherings of 30 people (seated) or up to 50 (standing). The deck overlooks the Sawkill Creek and is named after two old friends — John Sebastian and Fred Neil — who hung out here in the 70’s, writing songs and making music together. John still enjoys the deck to this day.
