Brenda was my event planner at Rossmere Country Club for my husbands celebration of life & I would highly recommend her. She did a great job & kept telling me not to worry she would handle everything & she did. Thank you - a job well done - it turned out beautiful & I received a lot of compliments.

We held our 6th annual memorial golf tournament at Rossmere this year. This was a huge undertaking and we can't thank Brenda Yaworski enough for all of her help and support leading up to the tournament, as well as her going above and beyond the day of. All the staff were very helpful getting everything set up and keeping things running smoothly throughout the day, and the event was a huge success due to their organization and planning. This was a difficult year with new challenges due to COVID restrictions, and it went off pretty much without a hitch. Strongly recommend working with Brenda and the team, and we will be back again next year!

Rossmere is a fantastic, beautiful, and elegant location for any wedding or event! Although the pandemic did not allow us to have our wedding here, Brenda (events coordinator) was endlessly helpful in helping us plan what we would have needed in order for our special day to be as great as possible including having multiple meetings to discuss food and drink options and preferences, and ceremony and reception layouts and arrangements. We ended up using photography, floral, and decorations from companies recommended to us from Brenda that all do weddings at Rossmere and all were fantastic, so booking here will not leave you disappointed! 10/10 experience!

We have been having our event at rossmere for the last 30 years and we would never think of going elsewhere. The staff is awesome, food is great and the course is in spectacular condition. Thanks again Brenda and Scott!

We had our Celebration of life for my father at Rossmere Golf and Country Club on June23 , 2020. We had an initial meeting with event manager Brenda Yaworski who helped us plan our event with the many options available at Rossmere. Our event was held in the upstairs venue. There was ample space. They decorated the room to suit our needs with black and white linen. There was lovely natural light streaming from the east side windows. Our family and friends were relaxed and comfortable in the air conditioned venue. The staff were very accommodating and attentive to our needs. They made sure coffee, water and pop was served when wanted. The food was excellent! We had regular sandwiches (artisanal) on fancy breads. Different assortments of sandwiches like corned beef, egg salad, turkey and ham. The meal was very tasty! We had them served family style, delivered to our table so it was covid-19 compliant, something we were concerned about. Rossmere made sure that we were protected by spacing out the tables and having only 6 persons per large table. Also hand sanitizer was provided on each table and the washrooms were close by and clean. We ordered pickle trays and fruit platters. The venue also had media services available to do PowerPoints . We used their three TVs to show a video. There was a microphone and sound system available if needed as well. The service was prompt and friendly. There was also an assortment of desserts served like carrot cake, brownies and Nanaimo bars served to each table. We want to thank Brenda and the staff for making our family event effortless. The next time we need a venue to hold our family gatherings we will be booking it at Rossmere Golf and Country Club! My father passed away in early June and we were looking for a suitable venue to host his service. We could not be more impressed and pleased with the Rossmere Country Club. They hit all the right notes with an elegant display of linens, great set up with the tables that followed the covid guidelines set up by the province, and wonderful service of delicious food. I was really impressed by how smoothly the entire afternoon unfolded. Thank you so much- Dad ( Maurice Paul) would have loved it. We received so many positive comments from our guests. We had my fathers funeral ceremony and luncheon at this country club . We very happy with service we received. They were more than accommodating in our needs and wants. The facility was well set up for us even with social distancing rules. The two people we had to assist us with media and serving the lunch was great. I would recommend Rossmere country club for your gatherings . Beautiful place. Inside and out...The entire facility encluding the bathrooms are meticulously clean... The young people who where taking care of us , where very intentive ,cauld inticapated any of our needs from across the room... with out us asking ... very very professional but still light hearted and fun at the same time ... high score ... 10 out of 10

We took our wedding photos and held our reception here in the summer of last year. The photos were awesome! We had a great guide that took us to some great places to take pictures. The golfers were very accommodating to let us take our time (some of them even played music for us from their cart!). The venue was wonderfully decorated and set up. There was room for all of our guests to move around and plenty of room for everyone to dance. The patio deck was a wonderful hangout spot and had a great view of the golf course. The staff were very helpful. Brenda was awesome! She made the process of booking and organizing the reception so easy. Everything we needed and wanted was taken care of. The food was amazing too! 10/10 would have my second wedding here (j/k, my wife is a keeper).

The food was delicious, the table decorations and arrangements were beautiful, and the staff was a delight to work with. Not only was everything that was promised delivered, I feel for everything that the event coordinator made sure that a thousand and one details were perfectly executed. The perfect venue for our staff Christmas Party (or any event for that matter). The newly constructed Golf Simulators (4 bays) was an all around crowd pleaser. Everyone who wanted to, got to give them a try. The food was delicious, the bar area was very inviting and comfortable. Everyone who attended was thinking it was a private club. It isn't, but we were treated like it was. Looking forward to our next event there.

The space was beautiful, with an excellent view. Service was great and they were sooo wonderful to work with! Makes planning for a special event easy!

We cannot recommend Rossmere enough for a wedding! Brenda was incredible throughout the whole process, she jumped in to save us time and time again from a last minute archway rental and photobooth to napkins just two days before. We were warmly welcomed for every meeting and even given a wonderful tour of the grounds with our photographer to scout out picture spots with notes made for our guide the day of the wedding. All the staff were so lovely the day of the wedding and everything went off on time without a hitch. Also the food was so incredible, we had so many compliments. What a wonderfully perfect night! We just wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to Brenda Yaworski and her team at the Rossmere Golf and Country Club for taking wonderful care of us our 100 guests for our wedding reception this July. We were officially married in November 2018 in the Cayman Islands, and this event was for our Canadian family and friends. Although a "second time around", it was every bit as wonderful as the first time - and that is in large part because of the staff at Rossmere. Brenda and I started arranging everything, entirely by email, a few months in advance. She was always quick and thorough with her replies – no matter what day or time it was! The venue was beautiful and the decorations were lovely. The wedding cake was made by their in-house pastry chef and it was delicious and gorgeous. We showed her a picture of the original wedding cake and she mirrored the tropical design, almost to a tee, without even being asked! That was a special and unexpected touch! Everyone raved about the food, we can't count how many times we have been told that the food was “Amazing!” With not a lot of time in Canada to make decisions, we depended on Brenda and she did not disappoint. The food choices and right down to the wine received high praise. During the event the serving staff were incredible! They were attentive to our every need and all of them had a huge smile on their face every time we came up with a new request. (ie. turn the lights down, turn the music up, we need more fries for the midnight “Poutine Bar!” ?? etc) One thing we stressed before the event was; we absolutely did NOT want staff to remove a single drink or glass from a table before it was empty, as we find it offensive. The staff adhered very closely to our request and not one beverage was cleared away that a guest was still drinking. We were very appreciative of this. There isn’t an elevator in this “heritage” building which is not ideal for elderly people or anyone with mobility challenges. Fortunately we didn’t have anyone that was physically unable to make it up and down one flight of stairs. Overall my husband and I would like to give a 10 out of 10 to Brenda Yaworski and the team at the Rossmere Golf and Country Club. We would highly recommend them for any event, large or small. We would be pleased to book with them again without hesitation!

We recently held our wedding reception at the Rossere Country Club and could not be happier with our choice. The super attentive staff made everyone feel like royalty for an evening, dinner ran smoothly, allergies were dealt with great seriousness, the bar tenders were quick and fun, and everyone was so incredibly friendly. Any issue that could occur was nipped in the butt before anyone could even notice it. The photos from the grounds are turning out amazing, and the use of balcony was perfect for when you needed some air after dancing off your feet. Oh and the food. Every single person from our event had something great to say about the food. To perfectly cooked beef tenderloin, potato bacon soup you could sip on all day, to the VERY BEST creme brûlée your taste buds have ever had the honour of devouring. Hats off to the amazing chef and catering staff. From the set up, pre-event activities, event itself, and take down, I feel like the luckiest Bride to have such amazing support that helped create a carefree and most memorable day of my life! We had our daughter's wedding shower at Rossmere and the room and food turned out to be absolutely lovely. Everyone enjoyed themselves along with myself, as the mother, without any worry or concern. Brenda and her amazing staff took such good care of our needs prior to and on the day of. Highly recommend this wonderful staff and spectacular room. Terry

I had a wedding shower for my daughter. The room was beautiful and quaint, with a view of the gold course. We were offered choices with the food and wine and was very good. The staff were also friendly and accommodating. Thanks Rossmere Golf and Country Club for a memorable day!

This is the second time I had a small gathering for around 20 family members and this was a perfect place to host it. The private room, that has beautiful views, was set up very nicely and the food was all laid out and was fresh and very tasty. The staff was accommodating and the open bar gave people the choice to have anything they wanted to drink. Highly recommend this place - they can accommodate any number of people from small groups in a private room, to weddings and socials!

Rossmere hosted a luncheon for our staff of 65 people. The Greek buffet was delicious, there was plenty of food, and the staff were helpful and friendly. In addition, the room had a beautiful view of the golf course. This is a great place to hold a corporate-type event.

We had our Association Golf Tournament at Rossmere this year and it turned out excellent! It started out with great communication from both Scott and Brenda and they allowed for last minute adjustments. On the day of the tournament the staff helped out with all our requests. The course was in good shape as well! The dinner was fabulous! Lots of variety and it tasted so good! Thanks again to the staff at Rossmere for making our event a success! See you next year!
