In order to reserve an event date, the client must deliver a signed contract, a credit card, and a paid deposit within 14 day of the contract being issued.
All menu selections are due no less than 2 week (14 days) prior to the date of the event. A final Guest guarantee is due 1 week (7 days) prior to the event. All billing will be based upon your 7 day Guest count guarantee. If a guarantee is not received at the appropriate time, the anticipated attendance will be used as the guarantee and charges will be adjusted accordingly. The
guaranteed number is the minimum number for which you will be charged and is not subject to reduction. If the guaranteed guest count falls below 75% of the proposed guest count, the price per person will be increased to ensure the accuracy of the invoice.
We will make every effort to accommodate any last minute increases in the guest count, however, Marina Grill cannot guarantee that identical items will be available.
Cancellations 4 weeks (30 days) prior to the date of the event will receive a full refund.
Cancellations within 2 weeks (14 days) of your event will be charged 20% of the initial contracted amount. Final payment will be collected at the conclusion of your event. The balance paid will include sales tax, gratuity and service charge. Notify a manager prior to paying if you wish to
add an additional gratuity. We accept the following forms of payment for service: credit card, bank check, cashier’s check or cash. Marina Grill does not provide direct bill services. Marina Grill food and beverage pricing is subject to market change and is guaranteed for no more than 2 months (60 days) before your event date. Additional supplies, equipment and specialty items may
require additional fees.
All decorations brought into Marina Grill must be pre-approved by the Event Coordinator. Marina Grill must be notified of any materials that will be delivered prior to the event. Marina Grill will not assume any responsibility for the damage or loss of and merchandise or articles left in Marina Grill prior to, during, or following your event, including gifts, clothing, etc. No outside food
or beverage can be brought into Marina Grill; exceptions may be made for wedding cakes and special desserts with prior approval.
An additional fee may be required.

The Guest agrees to protect, indemnify, defend and hold harmless Marina Grill and it’s agents and employees, against all claims, losses or damages to persons or property, government charges or fines and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising or connected with the event, including, but not limited to the installation, removal, maintenance, occupancy or use of the premises or part thereof, by Guest or any guests, invitee or agent of Guest, or any independent contractor hired by the Guest, except those claims arising out of the sole negligence or willful misconduct of Marina Grill.

Thank you for your interest in our catering & waterfront venues located in the Marina District of Downtown Wilmington. We have several different space options, all connected to the infamous Downtown Riverwalk. The venues we offer are the Marina Grill, Tequilas Waterfront, the Boatyard, and The Pier at Port City Marina.

Our event coordinator can book a venue separately or can get creative and rent out parts of multiple properties. We also offer clients the opportunity to rent out all the properties for a private and show-stopping event. We look forward to making your special event a memorable one!
All site visits are done by appointment only with our Event Coordinator. They will show you the space options, discuss your event, and answer any questions you may have.
Our venues offer versatile options perfect for hosting a wide range of events, from corporate gatherings and anniversaries to birthdays and social gatherings. Our unique locations and exceptional service ensure an unforgettable experience for your guests.

- Centerpiece consisting of votive candles, seasonal greenery/flowers, holiday decoration per season (Upgrade available for a fee)
- Buffet table, gift table, name card table, head table, sweetheart table, cake table, or option to rent specific tables/hightops/lounge furniture etc, w/ approval (Varies by space location)
- Linen for tables (in spaces where tables are included) in black. (Other colors can be provided for an upgrade fee)
