Beautiful Historic Building, Great Service - An Eventective User from Allentown, PA

In the middle of downtown historic Williamsport, there is a gorgeous hotel building called the Historic Genetti. The long history of the building includes several name changes, so it may appear in historical documents as the Lycoming Hotel. This building has been fully restored with modern conveniences, but maintains its charm. The ballroom used for wedding receptions is absolutely beautiful. There are gorgeous old chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, antique molding, and other restored fixtures. There were two other meeting rooms offered to us as possibilities for the reception or the ceremony, but the ballroom is clearly the best. The staff there was infallibly professional and polite, even when things seemed like they might go wrong. The front desk staff helped us set up a block of rooms for all of the guests at a discounted rate, to ensure everyone who wanted to be there had a place to stay. They even included the honeymoon suite with the cost of the reception! The food was wonderful and the serving staff were some of the best I've ever seen. Overall, it was an amazing experience. The Historic Genetti managed to make our special day even better. It was expensive but so worth it.
