About The Cotillion

The Cotillion is a special events facility that hosts concerts, dances, comedians, and stage shows featuring nationally known artists and performers. This special events facility is available to rent for concerts, dances, banquets, corporate events, wedding receptions, trade shows, and private parties. Built in 1960, The Cotillion is a 28,500 square foot building with a maximum concert capacity of 2000 persons. The unique circular design of the building has large wooden beams supporting a 24 foot high domed ceiling over an 11,000 square foot floating hardwood maple dance floor and a stage that features a distinctive neon lit band shell.

The Cotillion ballroom - An Eventective User from Wichita Kansas

The wichita cotillion is a ballroom that has the capability to be transformed into any venue type immaginable from a concert hall complete with a stage to a very spacious wedding reception. I had my daughters quinceanera there in 2005. Most nights the cotillion hosts quince's, baptisms,and wedding receptons, every once and a while a touring band will have a concert there. The cotillion offers over 7000 feet of venue space, bartenders, and wait staff. Decor, fod and drink will be up to you, however be advised that you will NOT be able to use your own bartenders, this is done in an effort to cut down on underage drinking. The price is a little high at 2000 dollars a night, but the space is so beautiful and the staff so very helpful it is the most eligible place in Wichita for an upscale event.
