About Kell House Museum

The lovely formal gardens and romantic ambiance of the Kell House Museum provide a truly original and memorable setting for you and your guests. Set against the backdrop of the stately 1909 Frank Kell family home, the meticulously landscaped gardens feature a white columned pergola above an elegant dining and dancing area. The Carriage House hosts meeting rooms, restrooms, dressing areas, and a catering kitchen. The Museum harkens back to the romance of the Victorian era, with period rooms and family treasures.

Imagine your special event within the unique setting of the historic home or gardens of the Kell family. Rental of the Kell House also includes the beautiful gardens. Or select the gardens by themselves for a beautiful outdoor event. All rentals include the use of restroom, changing, and kitchen facilities inside the Carriage House, which may be rented by itself for small gatherings and meetings. Rental of the Kell House only includes use of the first floor of the building. Second floor tours may be scheduled upon request. All set up and clean up must be completed during the hours of rental. A security deposit must be made to secure the event date; the rental fee is due 30 days prior to the event. Any deposit, minus any cleaning fees and any damages, will be refunded no later than 30 days after the rental date. Wichita County Heritage Society Members are eligible for a 10% discount on all rentals; deposits are not discounted.

With space for up to 95 in a standing reception style event, or fewer for a seated dinner, the Victorian decor and historic ambiance provide an memorable environment for events of all kinds. Second story tours are available upon request.
