About MR. Duo
A Sydney, Nova Scotia, based duo playing « Timeless Hits » of high energy rock & roll and country songs to Round Dance/Foxtrot/or slow rock & roll.
Roger Boudreau and Marcel Lefort are originally from Chéticamp, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. We started our musical journey with the group « The Phantoms » in Cheticamp.
Roger moved to Montreal to pursue his studies and start a career with Bell Canada. In the Montreal region, he was part of a group called « The Classics » before retiring and moving back to Cape Breton in the Sydney area.
Marcel became a music teacher in Cape Breton and continued his musical journey playing with various groups and musical styles in the Cape Breton area, including Acadian French, Celtic, rock & roll and country.
Marcel and Roger reunited in 2019 after retirement and formed Mr. Duo.

Went to listen to Mr. DUO several times at the Doryman Tavern in Cheticamp & they never disappointed me. Love their "oldies" in Rock & Roll music.

Saw MR. Duo play at the Doryman Pub on March 26 the and they were great . People were dancing and having a great time. Highly recommended.
