We recently used Zilli's catering for our wedding in Milwaukee. The food was fantastic and the service was even better. Paula was very helpful as we planned the event. Unlike some other caterers we met with, Paula allowed us to develop our own ideas for the wedding, rather than push her own ideas on us. She offered us suggestions when she we asked for them, but she was never insistent that we use her recommendations. We met with them early on and spent an hour or more sampling a selection of appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts. Everything was prepared as if it was the wedding night itself. It was delicious and it wasn't easy to narrow down our choices as everything tasted fantastic. In addition to the tasting, we looked at some place settings and linens to get a better feel for what we'd like to use. Paula was very accommodating when we told her we would be handling the bar ourselves, buying the all the alcohol and hiring the bartending staff. She explained that Zilli's offered several bar packages we might be interested in, but she wasn't bothered by out decision to handle the bar ourselves. In the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, Paula and the Zilli's staff helped us make arrangements with the venue to do a walk through and finalize the details of the evening. Zilli's was especially accommodating considering this was a brand new wedding venue in downtown Milwaukee and they hadn't worked there before. They went out of their way to arrange for a floor plan to be drawn out and they made it easy for us to deal with the unexpected issues that arose. The night of the wedding everything went perfectly. The food was delicious and the staff was very helpful. Everyone was served their meal in a very timely fashion. They had ample servers for the large number of guests we had in attendance. Overall, I'd highly recommend Zilli's for catering your wedding.
