Ronora Lodge & Retreat Center is a rustic venue in SW Michigan, just 2 miles north of I-94, 100 miles east of Chicago & 200 miles west of Detroit. It's ideal for workshops of all kinds, artist & meditative retreats, church groups, residential school camping, family reunions, weddings, couples getaways, girls weekends & more. Our cottages and lodges feature large & small meeting areas, well-equipped kitchens & comfortable beds. Chadwicke Dining Hall seats 100 at tables & we offer hand-crafted catering for groups of 25+. We host a wide diversity of groups, retreats, weddings and couples getaways. Ronora's recreation areas, trails, and peaceful natural environment make it easy to escape without going far away. We like to say RONORA is 'Easy to get to, hard to leave, in a world all its own'. Nestled on Redtail Nature Preserve, Ronora features a secluded spring-fed lake for swimming, paddling and fishing; woodlands, meadows, wildlife, pristine pastures; and miles of nature trails. Migrating birds, carpets of wildflowers, ripe wild blackberries and mulberries, and beauty in every season. Equine-assisted learning and team building experiences with our friendly rescue horses make an interesting and enriching activity for groups & individuals ages 7+. For those who want to explore, the local area is rich with breweries, wineries, arts, watersports & Lake Michigan shoreline. Ronora is fully open April through October.
