I recently hosted my Family Reunion at Grand Affairs. Jackie was AMAZING. I was afraid that the process was going to be difficult because I was planning this event from Atlanta Georgia. I needn’t have worried. Jackie walked me through everything. When we arrived my family was amazed at how beautiful the venue was decorated. The food was fantastic the staff was extremely attentive and everyone was pleased. Thank you Grand Affairs for making the night memorable. I would definitely use this venue again!!!
On Sunday, June 23, 2024 New First Baptist Church Crestwood, The Restoration Center held a 25th Pastoral Anniversary dinner at the Grand Affairs Event Center. The Experience and Atmosphere was "GRAND." Jaki Honeyman the Coordinator was fun to work with, and she has a loving personality. The layout of the room was elegant. Chef Louise Hymons food was so "superior" that the people was going back for more and more. Michelle and her staff went way beyond the call of duty. They were very professional, patient, and polite. All of the Staffs were "GREAT"
We decided to use Grand Affairs to cater our wedding in Knotts Island, NC. Jaki and her staff were attentive, friendly, and so helpful the day of the wedding! They were so easy to work with and helped to make our day incredibly special! We got so many compliments from our guests stating that the food was amazing and the staff was great! I would highly recommend Grand Affairs to anyone in the area looking to cater an event. You won't regret it!

The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is a 501c3 non-profit organization that assists Navy, Marine Corps, and other service personnel with financial assistance, financial training and provides interest-free loans and grants to those in need. Every year Volunteers (which make up 90% of our staffs, world-wide are recognized with awards. Our luncheon was provided by Grand Affairs Virginia Beach (for the second year in a row). Room venue,food and set-up were superb. Food choices were pre-selected and were presented in a nice buffet setup and the service staff met every detail as requested. Grand Affairs is a superb organization fit for small to very large groups. We were well pleased with their service. Ray Forehand, Chair of Volunteers, Little Creek Office.

I had my wedding at Grand Affairs on October 21, 2023. To say it was perfect isn't enough. Ms. Jaki was so helpful the whole time from first meeting her at an open house to the morning of the wedding. Every time I needed assistance or had questions, she was there to help. The catering staff was amazing as well. The food was so delicious and everything was set out perfectly. Everyone was so kind as well. We ended up leaving cupcakes and leftover food for the staff to enjoy for all their hard work. On top of how perfect everything was, it was very affordable as well. They provided decorations and were accommodating for our personal decorations. They were the most affordable venue in the area that provided the most for the price. It especially helped that they do split payment periods to make it easier. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to get married or celebrate any big event.

Jaki truly made me feel like the only bride in the world. I got married at Church Point Manor on August 12th, 2023, and was in search of an offsite catering team. As soon as I met Jaki, I knew it was right. She was able to answer my questions before I knew them, keep us within our budget, and help create a fun and different menu for our wedding. She was wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the event, her and her team were unstoppable. They were there early to help setup and ensure everything was perfect (which it was). Not only were they so helpful and friendly, but the food was absolutely AMAZING. You never know how the food will be at a large social event, but it exceeded our expectations by 10000. The catering team even made plates for me and my husband so we could mingle and didn't have to do anything ourselves; they always made sure we had a full drink in our hands. I learned a lot about hospitality from the crew at Grand Affairs, and will never forget how special they made us feel. They feel like family now, and I will always recommend them.
We used Grand Affairs to cater our Silver Pride at the Hugh Copeland Center in the Neon District of Norfolk. They were delightful to work with prior to the event, and even more delightful, if possible, at the event. The food was delicious, and their staff was very professional as they presented the food in a beautiful manner. I am very pleased with Grand Affairs and will definitely use their services again. Ms. Jaki Reeves was an amazing person to work with. My husband and I were planning our first baby shower and Ms. Jaki was able to provide us with a setting that accommodated 60-70 guests, amazing food, decoration, and more. She took all of the stress out of planning this event and it really was a "Grand Affair" I highly recommend this venue for any and all who are planning an event. Their pricing is beyond fair, their venue is beautiful, the decorating services exceeded any expectations I could have had, and their food was very delicious. This event was the first of many that our family intends on celebrating at this venue!

January 22, 2022, I had my 55th birthday party with the most amazing team. I started looking for places to host my party in December and sent an email to get a quote for this amazing day. I received an email back from Jaki and we soon spoke and set up a time for me to come in and met with her. I met with her soon after and both I and my daughter instantly liked her. We talked about everything and then she asked me my colors for my event. Once I said black, purple gold, and white she started typing and telling me how much fun she was going to have planning this. When I say she understood the assignment she definitely understood. My room was amazing, the food was amazing the party staff all made us feel so welcomed. When I find Mr. Right I will definitely be getting married at Grand Affairs. Our 25th Wedding Renewal Banquet was held at Grand Affairs on June 22, 2019 in Norfolk, Va. We had a retirement party here with about 85 guests. Grand Affairs made the whole process so easy that I didn't have to spend much time making sure it was all right. All I heard the whole night of the event was how nice everything was and how good the food was. From the planners to the waitstaff to the decorators I was thoroughly impressed.
We could not have been more pleased with the service and hospitality we were extended by the entire staff at Grand Affairs. From the first meeting with Brian Harvey to the completion of the event, our every request, question, or concern was met with a prompt and courteous reply. The room was just perfect for our group of 60 guests, and Robert, Sissy, and Eric went above and beyond to ensure every guest was catered to. By the end of the evening, they felt like part of the event, not just assisting with the festivities. Since the conclusion of the event, we have received numerous messages from our members and their guests saying what a wonderful time they had, too. We have already reserved our event date for next year's annual Scholarship dinner and we look forward to working with Grand Affairs again! We tip our hats to the entire staff at Grand Affairs and thank them for their assistance with our event and their unwavering support of our uniformed service members. I enjoyed every minute of my wedding and reception at Grand Affairs. Everything was so beautiful and completely organized. I did not have to worry about anything but showing up at the venue. The entire staff at Grand Affairs went above and beyond to make sure our day was special. Our day of planner Nicole was perfect, the food and bartenders were fantastic, and Ms. Jaki is truly one of a kind. I am so thankful, and would definitely recommend Grand Affairs to anyone wanting a stress free experience. I plan on having more events here in the future. Thank you so much!
Planning an event with folk in long-distance places is a nightmare. Jaki and Grand Affairs made the process as smooth as glass. No question was unanswered. She prompted me concerning details I did not even think about. The food was delicious! Fried chicken, baked macaroni, collards, just to name a few of the dishes. And we had a few vegetarians in the midst who were very happy with their choices. Loved the ambiance of the room. Those lighted swags are dreamy! Definitely a place to consider for all special occasions. Five stars, two thumbs up, four diamonds... all for Jaki and all the staff at Grand Affairs!
We hosted the 80th birthday party for my father in law. The party planning was very easy. The planner recommended food and decoration worked out great.

I would 100% recommend Grand Affairs to anyone looking to host a party. From day 1, Brian was so easy to work with. He made sure we had everything we needed and was always quick to respond to any questions I had. The venue was perfect. We didn't have to do anything but walk in and enjoy the night. The food was PERFECT and had nothing but compliments on how delicious it was. The staff was wonderful and willing to help with anything we needed. We will definitely be using Grand Affairs in the future!
Staff was so professional and on top of everything we needed to make this a super successful event. Brian was amazing with all the planning and made it almost effortless on my part. We had to change our date several times due to our underway schedule and Brian was so understanding and flexible. We hosted this event at Grand Affairs last year and will probably be returning for a third year next year. I can't give them a high enough recommendation!
We had to plan a formal celebration from another state and was hesitant and anxious at first, but were overjoyed at the outcome. The staff was very professional and helpful from beginning to end and I was amazed when I walked in and saw the set-up, exactly as I had pictured. Our meal was absolutely delicious and the venue was beautiful. I would absolutely recommend Grand Affairs for your next celebration!!

My daughters wedding and wedding reception was held at Grand Affairs. The service was exceptional; everyone in the wedding party agreed that the friendly staff went out of their way to make our day truly special. The reception took place in the Ballroom, which impressed everyone with its decorations and set up. The dinner served by Grand Affairs master chef was among the best I have ever tasted. I would recommend Grand Affairs to anyone desiring a classy and elegant location for their wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better place or staff.
