About DanceSportVA

DanceSport VA has three beautiful venues to choose from. Our main ballroom is a 3,000 square foot venue, perfect for larger events and capacity is approximately 120 people. The Junior Ballroom is a smaller, more intimate, venue for about 35 to 50 people. Our Dance Club is a club style venue, 2,000 square feet with its own restrooms and kitchen. Dance Club Capacity is approximately 75 people. All rooms have their own sound system and lighting system which you may use at no additional charge. Amenities include crystal chandeliers, specialty lighting, sprung dance floors, tables, cushions chairs, sound systems, dressing rooms, prep kitchens, and parking. Available services include DJ, Dance Choreography, dance lessons, dance performances, and table & chair set-up and breakdown.

Each venue room is priced separately. Our most popular room, the Dance Club, which holds a maximum of 75 people is $200/hour (excluding holiday rentals). Our largest room, the Main Ballroom, which holds 125 people is $500/hour (excluding holiday rentals). Our smallest room, Junior Ballroom, holds a maximum of 50 people, is $100/hour (excluding holiday rentals). Cost to rent our entire facility which holds 250 people is $700/hour. We have separate pricing for holiday rentals. Set-up time for any room is $85/hour. Set-up time is immediately prior to the event.

Our facility books fast with the Dance Club being the most popular rental venue (fits 75 people). This room looks like a party dance club with it "club-like" atmosphere. It features high-top tables, bar stools, and lounge (sofa-like) seating. It has it's own pre-kitchen, restroom facilities, DJ booth, separate entrances, sound system and specialty lighting.

The main ballroom is a large, elegant room perfect for parties of all types. This room will hold a maximum of 150 people. We have specialty lighting which includes European Style Chandeliers, uplighting, LED Cams, corner spots as well as cove lighting. We have both 4' rectangular, 4' round and 6' rectangular tables. The sound system is "plug and play" and is controlled at the DJ booth. We have had wedding receptions, baby showers, sports signing day parties, conferences, birthday parties, family reunions, company appreciation parties, etc. in this room.

My 50th 80’s theme party - An Eventective User

Choosing "dance studio" for my 50th birthday venue was a very easy and pleasant experience! The owners are very professional, polite and personable. Considering I've never done anything like this before they made the process easier than I could've imagined. The DanceSport VA itself is very very nice. They obviously take pride in their establishment... it's very clean... neat with a modern flair... the mirrors on the wall, the cute chairs and tables was simply impeccable. The bathrooms as well, were very clean and well stocked. I highly recommend DanceSportVA for your birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers etc you will not be disappointed!
