About Lust Life Jazz Band
Don't be fooled by our traditional name. We are not your ordinary Jazz Band. We are a multi genre band that plays feel good music to create just the right atmosphere for your event.
We play many venues including Vancouver and the islands. We are available in varying sizes to suit your budget, from as small as a trio, or quartet, to as large as a big band for corporate event music, festival music, party music, wedding music, and your entertainment needs. Lust Life plays tasteful music for toe tappin' enjoyment.
Featured musicians in The TD 2016 Victoria International JazzFest and preferred suppliers of music at The Empress Hotel, Butchart Gardens, Royal BC Museum, The Chateau Victoria, and many other venues, Lust Life has been a staple of the Victoria BC and Vancouver Island music scene for years.
Frequently guest soloists join the band to offer their opinions in the language of jazz. The repertoire stems from the love of the jazz song form, the great American songbook and takes inspiration from Latin music, jump jazz, blues, pop, funk and swing.
The stylings of Lust Life defy classical description. Their unique eclectic sound paints a melliflous picture of west coast style. Each member of the band brings a wealth of performance history and musical influences.
Fused together, their synergy is greater than the sum of the parts. Sultry vocals, infectious grooves, and original improvisations create an exciting new concept in modern jazz.

We hired this lovely group of gentleman to play for our 10 Anniversary party and I can honestly say they made our evening. Our place was so alive with great music which electrified our guests. They were so perfect in the music they played, the volume for our home as we thought we would’ be outside and the energy they brought to the party. We were all so thrilled and I would have them back in a New York minute. Loved these guys.
