About Church Barn Farm

The Church Barn built in 1898 as a Christian Church then converted to a tobacco barn and now has been preserved to host boutique weddings and events in this one of a kind Kentucky Gem. The Schoolhouse built in 1903 as a one room schoolhouse, then added on to a 2 room school. With original coffered ceilings and hardwood floors this refurbished historic building is a classic space to host small events.

Beautiful Church Barn Farm Wedding - An Eventective User from Church Barn Farm Versailles, KY

10/10 recommend this venue! Matthew went above and beyond to make this experience a great one for us.. We had our rehearsal luncheon in the school house the day before our wedding and heard many compliments by our guests. On wedding day, we had about 75 guests and this was perfect for the barn! We had the barn windows open, had a nice breeze, and took advantage of the outdoor and indoor space for cocktail hour and during our reception. We were able to get so many great pictures from our photographer because of Church Barn Farm’s beauty. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our wedding!!

Beautiful Venue- Helpful Owner - An Eventective User from Kentucky

This venue is a beautiful gem tucked away in Nonesuch. My sibling recently hosted their wedding at Church Barn and we cannot brag enough on Matthew and his venue. Matthew was helpful and on top of everything you could possibly think of, one step ahead and already helping out with tasks. The venue is quaint and offered just enough space for the 100 guest wedding. The Schoolhouse provided a wonderful backdrop for the rehearsal dinner and getting ready space. The Church Barn is beautiful before even putting our personal design on the space; romantic and rustic, provided ample natural light and we were easily able to work with the outdoor space to setup our buffet, bar and lawn games. As a wedding coordinator I've experienced all sorts of venue owners and Matthew's personality is unmatched by most others I've encountered. He is helpful and gives great recommendations on how to use the space without nickel and diming us along the way (believe me a hard trait to find in venues). We had several wedding guests come from out of town. With the venue's location being 20-30 minutes away from several cities we had ample options for hotels and Airbnbs (Matthew's family even has a few!) Thank you Matthew for hosting our crowd, you were constantly helpful and kind.
