Since my job requires me to attend conferences frequently, I am blessed with the task of traveling to these meetings and experiencing all of the many venues. Although I often like the less complicated venues, I have a special fondness for the Hyatt in Los Angeles because it is very extravagant. Despite its luxury, it is done in a very tasteful manner that does not feel too over the top. The venue has over ten rooms where meetings can be held. All rooms have long tables available that are surrounded by enormous cushioned leather chairs. The rooms are spacious and have all of the amenities needed for a successful conference. This includes the typical conference equipment like computers, projectors, etc. One thing that was available here that is not always available and similar venues is wireless internet connection in all conference rooms. This was definitely beneficial for our conference because we did not have to rely on Ethernet connections. The catering here was absolutely excellent with very gourmet food choices for people of all preferences. There was even room available for banquets outside if the weather permits. It was a great venue for a conference because the rooms were just upstairs. This allowed for everything to be in one location, which was very simple. Although the location is located in a beautiful location within the city, it was nice to have everything right there in the same building. I had a great time at this conference and thought that the conference was luxurious, but tasteful. I hope I get the chance to attend another meeting at this venue!
