I'm a musician with 25yrs playing experience based in Ucluelet who has chosen to break outside of the prolific abundance of folk acts, to offer a departure from the norm. I play an interesting mix of original material and Indy/rock/alternative hits from the 90's and 2000's including covers of bands like Alice in chains, blind melon, stone temple pilots, and many other "classics" that don't conform to the usual "classic rock" covers that we might all be too familiar with...lol. I wanted to bring together a set of songs that are instantly recognizable for people in their late 20's to early 50's that were into that alt rock scene, and adapt it to an acoustic solo show! I've been performing locally for the past 8 months to great reviews and multiple repeat bookings, which tells me that the idea and the choice in material is resonating with audiences.
