Upon a mutually agreed request, TPP will forward appropriate Attachments, to Customer by fax, email, or mail, for Customer completion. Customer agrees to return the completed attachments, and a 50% deposit within five business days by fax, email or mail. TPP agrees to hold all requested space for Customer during the five business day period. At receipt of the deposit, TPP will forward the Contract for Customer signature. The Contract balance is due and payable at check-in. TPP does not provide billing services, carry balances after check-out, and operates on a cash accounting basis. Invoice adjustments, reductions, or discounts are not allowed for overnight guest or individual day only attendee no-show or cancellations, or for any reduced number of Function attendees for any reason except those otherwise outlined in a Contract.
Refunds are available for Customer group cancellations. For purposes of these terms a cancellation shall be defined as a Reservation canceled by Customer. Cancellation notification will only be accepted from the person of authority whose signature appears on a Contract.
(a) Cancellations received 90 days, or earlier, prior to the Function date receive a full refund subject to a $100 service fee.
(b) Cancellations within the final 90-day period prior to the Function shall receive no refund, unless TPP is able to rebook the dates.
(c) If TPP is able to resell the same dates for another like function, TPP will refund the entire deposit less the cancellation fee of $100 per day for each day reserved.
The standard nightly rate for booking the main lodge at Truchas Peaks Place (which contains 10 bedrooms with 28 total sleeping spaces) is $2,000/night, plus a one-time cleaning of $600 and state/local taxes of 11.875%. When booking 3 nights or more, we offer a 10% discount which brings the nightly rate down to $1,800/night. Our retreat center grounds also include two additional buildings, the Opus House (which contains 5 bedrooms with 6 sleeping spaces) and the Casita (which contains 2 bedrooms with 3 sleeping spaces). When also booking these buildings, the rates are $625/night and $250/night respectively, and when booking 3 nights or more, the prices are discounted to $525/night and $200/night respectively. There are one-time cleaning fees for both of the houses ($250 and $100 respectively), and these fees are also subject to state/local taxes of 11.875%.
