About Valley Country Club
The Mansion at Valley Country Club is a historic site nestled in the heart of Baltimore County. Built in 1858 by the Kellogg family, the mansion was a thriving 500 acre estate, cattle farm and equestrian property. In 1955, Baltimore’s Donovan Family acquired the property with the sole purpose of hosting events and parties.
For over five decades the Donovans have been creating incredible memories using their special blend of fabulous hospitality, fine service and exceptional culinary and catering skills. The centerpiece of this conveniently located property is a magnificent Victorian mansion—an ideal setting for elegant weddings, receptions or special occasions.
The luxurious mansion is a specialty venue that accommodates up to 220 guests. The ballroom, built in 1960, offers a 3,000 square foot dance floor. The romantic atmosphere is further enhanced by a designer tooling treatment, ceiling lights, beautifully gilded wall sconces and contemporary up-lighting. Everything in the mansion has been perfectly designed to provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding celebration or special event.
