About Moonlight Lounge

Moonlight Lounge is a large and exclusive entertainment venue, discovered behind the restaurant TacoTaco in the Kensington Market. Hidden in the back, your guests can discover this beautiful vintage space, with a capacity of 194 people. The Lounge includes a stage, dancefloor, ample and customizable seating, and a beautiful rustic bar. Large and versatile, the Lounge is perfect for birthday parties, corporate parties, dance groups, DJ parties, concerts & other performances, meet ups, weddings and conferences, and movie/music video shoots. Included in the rental is the professional sound system (with karaoke), party nights, smoke machine, bar staff, host/security (as applicable) and clean up. The Lounge is served by the TacoTaco kitchen until 12am. - Our rental prices start at list rates. Weekends are subject to premium rates. Above and beyond doesn’t even begin to cover it! - An Eventective User

First of all: the event space was everything we hoped it would be. We had a micro-wedding in the morning then an after-party at the Moonlight Lounge for a bigger crowd. Our lunch ran late so I had to rush down to the party 25 minutes after it was scheduled to start, thinking I’d encounter a room full of grumpy guests milling about. But when I arrived, Luan greeted me warmly at the front of the house and told me everything was under control. So when I walked through the door into the lounge, I was greeted with cheers and applause from a roomful of friends, all seated with their first drinks (Luan passed out tickets for us), with music playing and the lights all perfectly set up. Nowhere in our agreement did he say he would perform hosting duties in our stead, yet he graciously and happily did just that. And when the “finger food” arrived… it was so plentiful and delicious! 12/10 would most enthusiastically recommend and would definitely book again for a big get-together. Beyond thrilled with our choice.
