Terms and Conditions

1. PAYMENT All prices are in Canadian Dollars. To secure the specific requested date, as well as the event space, we require a 20% advance deposit of the total event cost, to be paid immediately upon signing the event proposal. The remaining balance is due seven (7) days before the event date. The preferable payment method is by card (we accept all major credit cards), but it is also available via e-transfer or cheque. 2. GUEST COUNT & MENU This agreement is contingent on the number of guests mentioned above. Additional guests are subject to an additional per-person charge. The final guest count is to be determined up to seven (7) days prior to the event. Any changes or amendments to the menu or guest count mentioned above must be done in writing up to seven (7) or more days prior to the event. 3. SERVICE CHARGES There will be a twenty percent (20%) auto-gratuity charge for the staff working at the event, and a ten percent (10%) delivery charge for the delivery car, driver and all packaging needs. 4. CANCELLATION BY ACTS OF GOD If the event is cancelled as a result of any pandemics, epidemics, restrictions on group gatherings and dining in the Province of Ontario, all deposits and payments will be refunded in full, under force majeure or applied toward a rescheduled event agreed upon by both parties. 6. CANCELLATION BY CLIENT If the event is cancelled seven (7) or more days prior to the event, all deposits and payments will be refunded in full or applied toward a rescheduled event agreed upon by both parties. If the event is cancelled between seven to three (7-3) days prior to the event the deposit will be forfeited. Any cancellation less than three (3) days prior to event date will result in forfeiture of all deposits and payments received. 7. CANCELLATION BY MIZNON YORKVILLE CORP. Miznon Yorkville Corp. reserves the right to terminate this contract for any valid reason beyond its control. If Miznon Yorkville Corp. terminates this contract, all deposits and payments will be returned in full. 8. INSURANCE Miznon Yorkville Corp. is a fully licensed and insured company in all aspects. Specifics are available upon request. 9. UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES The Client will comply with all the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario, all municipal ordinances and all lawful orders of police and fire departments, and will not do anything on the event premises in violation of any laws, ordinances, rules or orders. If unlawful activities should occur on the premises and the event is cancelled, there will be no refund of any kind from Miznon Yorkville Corp. to the Client. 10. AMENDMENT AND SUPPLEMENT Any amendment and supplement to this Agreement shall come into force only after a written agreement is signed by both parties. The amendment and supplement duly executed by both parties shall be part of this Agreement and shall have the same legal effect as this Agreement.
