The expansive space can easily accommodate gatherings up to and, if need be, exceeding 500 attendees. The prefunction area is literally the heart of the Museum with fabulous cars and memorabilia exhibits at every turn. With ample space for a dance floor and excellent acoustics, the Showcase Gallery is the perfect venue for concerts, community festivals and high-end charity fund raisers.

For more flexibility and capacity, the banquet room is a great choice. The 3,318 sq ft space can seat up to 200 people, making it the second largest room in the building. With a mix of white and purple, the Banquet Room offers a calm approach with lots of potential. For a presentation, seated dinner, or game room, the Banquet Room can accommodate a variety of events. Upon request, the foyer just outside of the banquet doors can be used for food, beverage, and cocktail needs. The space is also located on the same floor as our Photo Car and Speed Zone, making it a great pair to both add-ons. For smaller meetings, our Boardroom can be set up to condense the space.

For those who want a private feel to their event, Club Auto Tacoma is the perfect room. Unlike any other, this space offers a personal garage that will bring a classic car ambiance to any occasion. Furnished with leather seating and stained wood table sets, Club Auto is a stylish option for up to 65 people. All soft seating can be removed and replaced with table settings of your choice. Included in the room is a built-in bar, mounted TV, and speaker system ready for entertainment or display needs.

One of the only private outdoor grass areas in Tacoma, the 3.5-acre Haub Family Field offers a space for a variety of large-scale events. From festivals, to drive-ins, and concerts, the Show Field is a great opportunity to host the next large gathering. The field can park up to 250 vehicles and provides space to fit an abundance of vendors and thousands of participants. With easy access from 1-5 and Downtown Tacoma, the field provides a convenient location for those in local or surrounding communities. Take in the exceptional views of Tacoma’s Commencement Bay and the surrounding Olympic Mountains from the versatile Show Field.

Host an event in the Mezzanine and enjoy the stunning view for less of a price. Located above the lobby, the Mezzanine offers guests an open-air feel to take in the architecture and Showcase Gallery from above. This space can seat up to 80 people in our café seating. Each table is available for rearrangement, adding to the versatility of the space.

Included in our birthday package, the Classics Classroom is an excellent private space for parties, meetings, and events for up to 30 people. Furnished with our café tables and decorated with vintage car art, the classroom is well suited for a variety of small events. The space works great for breakout sessions or extra space when combined with any other room. Additionally, the Full Throttle Café, located on the same floor, is available for all museum guests during regular 10 am to 4 pm hours.
