If you live in the Stratford, CT area, you have definitely heard of Liedle’s. For a half century, Liedle’s has been a hub for celebrations large and small. It was recently purchased by local restaurant owners, John Vazzano and Larry LaConte and they plan to continue the tradition of offering the perfect year-round setting for your banquet needs. The new Vazzano’s Four Seasons, located at 337 Kenyon St., holds nearly 400 people and boasts a 1,200 square foot dance floor, the largest in Connecticut.
Vazzano, in his second generation in the restaurant business, and LaConte, in his fourth, came up with the name because Stratford is the “Town for All Seasons”. Vazzano already owns Vazzy’s Brick Oven Restaurant, 513 Broadbridge Road, Bridgeport; Vazzy’s Osteria, 415 Main St., Monroe; Vazzy’s Cucina, 706 Bridgeport Ave., Shelton; Vazzy’s 19th Hole at Fairchild Wheeler, run by LaConte at Bridgeport’s D. Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course in Fairfield, Lighthouse Pizza in Stratford and Beach House Grill on Short Beach and The Windmill Tavern in Stratford as well. None of those establishments can accommodate the scale of the former Liedle’s, once a grocery store.
The spacious venue is the perfect place for Weddings, Anniversaries, Showers, Birthdays, Rehearsal Dinners, Christenings, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Communions, Confirmations, Retirement Dinners, Scholastic Banquets, Church Socials, Fundraisers, Corporate Functions, Business Meetings and Holiday Parties. We also have scheduled seatings for holidays such as Easter and Mother’s Day.
