Lovely place, but grounds could use some attention (weeds, railing on deck needs painting)
In northern Georgia just outside of the city of Atlanta is Stone Mountain. The Stone Mountain experience begins before you actually arrive at the potential wedding venue. The city of Stone Mountain is a throwback in time. The small southern town is rich with both history and an overall positive vibe. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to keep your wedding guest thoroughly occupied while waiting for the big event. One important thing to remember when planning your big day is that last minute problems are bound to come up. By problems I mean your guest are guaranteed to forget things. Stone Mountain has more than enough shops to provide for those last minute forgotten items. Once the guests arrive at the park they will find that they are about to attend a wedding that they will remember for the rest of their lives. Having a wedding at Stone Mountain solves many problems associated with wedding planning. First of all there is more than enough room for all the guest to spread out and do their own thing. The park is a virtual amusement park . The children will love the Duck Bus. The Duck Bus is an amphibious bus which tours the park both on road as well as blasts its way through duck ponds scattered throughout the park. There is also a climbing wall and huge playground. At certain times of the year a steam train takes guest on rides around the base of the mountain. The wedding venue itself can be held in any of multiple buildings covering the park. Stone mountain offers attendants and guides to help fulfill all the desires of the wedding guests in a friendly and down home fashion.
