I am a Jazz vocalist here in the New York City area.and feel my presentation would be ideal for any event looking for a "nightclub- style" act in the classic tradition. My program is Jazz-based, but you don't need to understand Jazz Theory to appreciate what I do. My songs swing. They groove. And everyone enjoys a good ballad. I don't rely on the standard jazz repertoire. Rather, I often present jazz versions of songs not normally associated with jazz such as "I Feel The Earth Move" and "Where Did Our Love Go? (which you will hear here) along with songs that are not normally associated with male vocalists, such as "Love Me Or Leave Me", "Good Morning, Heartache", and "Body and Soul". I do not copy or imitate, and my arrangements are unique to the songs I perform. I also present a programmed set. I don't decide on stage, in an unstructured manner, what songs to perform. I work mainly with an incredible jazz pianist, but I can expand that to a piano / vocal duo to a vocalist with a trio.
