About Archives Wine & Spirit Merchants

Intimate and flexible wine bar and bottle shop for those who want to make great food and wine part of their event. The space flows from cosy wood and wine shelves in the front to a versatile event space behind. Located in the heart of St. Catharines, the space is ideal for cocktail party-type events, networking sessions, and informal receptions for up to thirty. We have a chef and kitchen, and can offer fully-customisable food menus at great pricing. We work with independent local suppliers to offer the highest quality cuisine, and specialise in charcuterie and bistro fare. Archives Wine & Spirit Merchants are specialists in local wine, with the region's largest selection of small-batch Niagara wines. Customisable cocktail bartending is also available, as well as DJ services.

Cheap price, high quality - An Eventective User from Toronto

Price for our event came in lower than all other venues we looked at. Service was great, food was very good. Wine list is second to none. Recommend for small events.

Birthday party - An Eventective User from Niagara Falls

Threw a surprise birthday party for my husbandhere and it was completely sucessful. The Archives team took care of everything from top notch food (we had gnocchi prepared completely from scratch) to excellent local wine, and great service. The room was comfortable and the music was good. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Out of town guests reception - An Eventective User from Niagara Falls

We had our wedding in Niagara Falls and invited out of town guests for a reception on Friday night, before the big day. Archives were the perfect hosts. We had a little buffet of tapas that were constantly coming out of the kitchen hot throughout the night. We had a variety of different wines open and a cooler filled with beer. We also did a cocktail reception to start, with Archives providing an excellent bartender.

Sunday brunch and wedding wine provider - An Eventective User from Toronto

Hi, We did a Sunday brunch following our daughter's wedding and it was wonderfu, we also used Archives to provide wine for our wedding offsite at a banquet hall. We are grateful to Archives, thank you for making the event a complete success! We first went to Archives to taste wines for the wedding itself, and we got a great deal on Niagara wine for the actual wedding dinner and open bar. On Sunday morning, we hosted a brunch for the bridal party and close friends at Archives. It was perfect; the food was terrific and the drinks and atmosphere too. We had mimosas and caesars, plus rosé and sparkling wine. There was a buffet of brunch foods set up freshly cooked in the kitchen onsite. Our guests loved it and I spent a fraction of what it would cost at a different restaurant or venue. This was a great choice, and I will be using Archives as the venue for an upcoming anniversary party. Thanks Archives for hosting us and the excellent wine choices.
