About Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum

CATERING: As we procure new long-term catering plans, we are offering rental clients through calendar year 2024 the option to use a licensed caterer for their choice as long as the caterer agrees to our policies, terms, and procedures. Please contact the Venue Rental Office to learn more. It is not possible to bring in your own food or beverages. The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum is a world-class library and museum in downtown Springfield, Illinois, that offers an array of visually beautiful venues perfect for any event. Whether it's a small meeting or a large reception, our staff strives to make sure you are provided with the utmost customer service. Imagine your event -- business meeting, conference, educational seminar, dinner, award banquet, wedding reception, and more -- and we can help you make your event or meeting memorable at the Museum or Library. Our state-of-the-art conference facility is ideal for conferences, seminars, corporate retreats, and luncheons. This meeting venue features audio/visual equipment including a built-in video wall, a podium with microphone, and four additional wireless microphones that may be any combination of hand-held and lapel microphones. The venue offers tele-conferencing and video-conferencing capabilities, and as the name suggests, this venue has numerous set-up possibilities. Use this venue itself or along with the complimentary Reception Gallery for additional space. Rental Charge: $1,000 for weekday, daytime or evening; $500 for half-day. Additional charges may apply for weekend events. Reception Gallery is included complimentary with room rental, if needed.

This multi-purpose space offers a 65” interactive smart board for enhanced presentations and connectivity and may be converted to a conference- or theater-style configuration. Use of the smart board is $80 for a weekday and $40 for a half-day rental.

This 4,500 square foot rotunda bracketed by a full-scale reproduction of Lincoln's boyhood Indiana log cabin and, on the other side, a replica of the White House provides a spectacular backdrop for elegant dinners, convention receptions, wedding receptions, and more. Included in a museum rental is the use of the Museum Gateway, an inviting entry into the memorable, world-class Museum. Rental Charge: $2,250 evening only; Available after 5:00 p.m. A client may customize their Museum event experience by choosing from the following exhibits and/or theater presentations. A la Carte Museum Offerings: -Illinois Gallery ($250) -The Journeys and Treasures Gallery ($250) -Lincoln's Eyes presentation ($1,000 / $500 extra showing) -Ghosts of the Library presentation ($1,000 / $500 extra showing) Please ask our staff about additional evening enhancement opportunities that may be included in your memorable event.
