About Mountain Acres
Mountain Acres is a private club made available for a limited number of selected weekends each year; guest reservations are limited.
Mountain Acres Lodge boasts a great room open three stories to a widows walk, a commercially appointed kitchen, two full baths, and a grand fireplace and seating surround that is one of the largest in Pennsylvania .
Wild game mounts adorn the balconies overlooking the great room that contains large screen satellite TV, a pool table, shuffleboard, and the dining area. Ten private bedrooms are located off the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies.
The lodge marks the entrance to 500 private acres and overlooks a springhouse and an active trout pond. You may see deer, bear, wild turkey, and even, ruffed grouse from the front porch or while having breakfast or dinner in the dining room. You may prepare your own meals or allow us to cater your group.
The setting is perfect for weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, family reunions, and, of course Penn State football! While secluded, the lodge is only 15 minutes from Beaver Stadium and equally convenient to the many other area attractions.
