There is a new and unique event space in town! The LaSalle reception and event center is located in the historic LaSalle building at the cornerstone of downtown South Bend. Your guests will marvel at the majestic 20 foot ceilings of the 100 year old Hotel Grand Lobby with beautiful art deco molding and elegant chandeliers. The Original terrazzo flooring, check-in desk and 2 marble staircases set off the space and showcase the historical flair. The original Bronze-wood ballroom on the second floor offers large open space with 16’ ceilings, original brass fixtures and spectacular bronzed chandeliers that will make for the perfect back drop to any event! Restored in 2017, The LaSalle Building has retained the beauty and elegance of the building’s historic origins. This cornerstone of South Bend has been transformed offering an exquisite main ballroom and luxury event venue designed to offer the simplicity you need or the elegance you require to ensure your event is always one-of-a-kind. The LaSalle believes in giving each client the opportunity to create their own perfect event. We do this by offering suggestions, but never defining vendors, layouts, menus, color schemes or event schedules. All professional licensed vendors are welcome to participate in events in our facilities, including caterers.
