***IF DEPOSIT IS NOT FULFILLED, THE PURCHASER IS IN VIOLATION OF THIS CONTRACT AND CONTRACT WILL BE VOID*** X. Provisions: Purchaser shall ensure that: (1) DJ is provided with a sturdy, covered 8’ DJ Table within 25’ of a 3 prong grounded electrical outlet; (2) the place of engagement is open and available to the DJ at least (1) hour(s) before the scheduled Purchaser Sign Here_____________ Date:_________ (Page 1 of 2 )Performer/DJ Sign Her e______________Dat e________ starting time; (3) the place of engagement meets all state and federal safety regulations; (4) for all outdoor performances, unless waived by the DJ , a tent or similar overhead protective covering must be provided to prevent damage to the DJ’s equipment in the event of adverse weather conditions; (5) reasonable steps will be taken to protect the DJ and his equipment & music collection from any type of abuse, theft or damage resulting from this booking. In the unlikely event of circumstances deemed by the DJ to present a real or implied threat or harm to the DJ’s equipment, music or person, the DJ reserves the right to cease performance until the Purchaser has resolved the threatening situation; (6) The DJ reserves the right to deny any guest access to the DJ’s music and/or equipment; (7) DJ has the right to cease performance immediately upon direction of law enforcement authorities, and (8) the Performer/DJ will remove all personal equipment and property from the venue site within (_1_) hour(s) following the end of the performance. XI. Cancellation Upon signing of this agreement and receipt of deposit, this engagement shall be considered binding. Should cancellation by the Purchaser be necessary, deposit shall be forfeited to the Performer/DJ. Should cancellation by the Performer/DJ be necessary, the Performer/DJ shall make every effort to find a comparable substitute.
