Terms of Renting the Event Space Booking and Payment: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total rental fee is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event date. Payment can be made via credit card or cash. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event date will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made between 14 and 30 days before the event will receive a 50% refund of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event will forfeit the entire deposit. Event Duration: The rental period includes set-up and clean-up time. (minimum is 4 hours) Any additional hours beyond the agreed rental period will be charged at an hourly rate. Capacity: The maximum capacity of the event space is 45 people, can seat 20 more in the glassblowing studio. Exceeding this limit is not permitted for safety and regulatory reasons. Use of Space: The event space is to be used for the purpose stated at the time of booking. Any changes to the event details must be communicated and approved in advance. Responsibility for Damages: The renter is financially responsible for any damage to the artwork, glasswork, equipment, or facilities caused during the event. If any artwork or glasswork is ruined, the renter will be charged the full value of the item. A security deposit may be required and will be refunded after the event, provided no damage has occurred. Lost or Stolen Items: The renter is responsible for the security of their personal belongings and those of their guests. The event space is not liable for any lost or stolen items. Clean-Up: The renter is responsible for ensuring that the space is left in the same condition as it was found. Additional cleaning fees may apply if the space requires more than standard cleaning. Compliance with Laws: The renter agrees to comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations during the use of the event space. The renter is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or licenses for their event. Liability: The event space is not liable for any injury or accident that occurs during the event. The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the event space, its owners, and employees from any claims arising out of the use of the space.
