We are a small, family-owned, specialty winery set in the majestic, rolling hills of Sherman CT, just south of Litchfield County on the former Upland Pastures dairy farm. Our 17-acre winery boasts breathtaking views and natural landscaping that captures the beauty of every season. The White Silo Winery grows and harvests grapes, blackberries, and rhubarb for our award-winning wines. We also grow asparagus, quince, beets and heirloom tomatoes for our festivals and seasonal farm products. The indoor tasting room is an ideal venue for corporate events for up to 80 guests and our outdoor space can accommodate up to 150 guests. During the warmer months, events may be held outdoors, in one of the terrace gardens, in the vineyard, or by one of the ponds. Guests can also view The Gallery, where works by local artists and artisans are on display. Our tasting room is housed in an 18th century dairy barn, restored as an elegant event space, while maintaining its original rustic charm adorned with exposed wooden beams and stone walls. The winery is equipped with a full, state-of-the-art commercial kitchen and our own onsite chef creating personalized menus featuring fresh, locally grown produce.
