Celebrate your love of history while you celebrate your love for your partner with your friends and family. Have your wedding at Scott County Historical Society! From May through October, the Stans Garden is a place for your outdoor wedding. Just a short walk to historic downtown Shakopee and several historic reception venues, the Garden is ideally located. The wooden arbor creates a picturesque place for your vows, while the long lawn creates a memorable and natural aisle for your procession. For groups under 50, seated, the museum building is the perfect location for presentations, small gatherings, talks, award ceremonies, and more! In the exhibit gallery or in the sun-filled atrium, your group will have a comfortable space to meet, listen and learn. What sets SCHS apart as a historic wedding and event venue is our willingness to work with you. We are a small team, ready to help make your day special.
