We were in a real bind. Our daughter's fiance told us he planned on proposing in Sedona while her mother and I were in Prescott, AZ to watch our son pitch in the inaugural home opener of the first ever Embry-Riddle Prescott Baseball Team. We were traveling from our home in Clearwater, FL. Of course, there had to be an engagement party and it had to be right after the proposal. With little more than a week to prepare for the event, our stress level was off the chart trying to find someone to last minute cater the party. I stumbled on Tastebuds of Sedona in a random listing of caterers. To say I was overjoyed when Kathy said she had an opening and could do it is putting it mildly. It was a shot in the dark but my confidence level was boosted by the excellent communication with Kathy and my gut feeling was that this was going to work out. Exchanging phone calls and emails between FL and AZ, we settled on an Italian themed menu for approximately 20 people. Kathy would cook, deliver, and set up the chafing dishes and then return the next day to collect the dirty dishes. The price was super reasonable. Well, we ended up with 32 people and fed them all! Everyone raved about the quality of the food. I can't imagine how it could have been any better. No exaggeration, best every Italian food! I have no idea the full scope of Kathy's capabilities as a caterer but I supect it is limitless. Please do yourself a favor and, as you explore caterers in the Sedona area, give Kathy and Tastebuds of Sedona a call. You can't go wrong! Thank you Kathy!!
When I got married this past July, we chose Taste Buds Catering for our guests and ourselves to enjoy during our reception. The reason we chose Taste Buds is partially because of the name, we thought it was cute, but wholly because of the food, of course. When we went to taste the food we were blown away to say the least... Everything was fresh and had the natural, healthy idea we had in mind. We were also happy to hear that they could accommodate my mother and sister in law who eat gluten-free, my husband who is lactose intolerant, and other people who attended that were allergic to shellfish or nuts. Whatever they may have been scared coming into contact with. They were willing to work with dietary regulations. The presentation was very , very nice looking, elegant and welcoming at the same time. The taste was even better than the look. The food they made was tantalizing and wonderful tasting. Every ingredient you could taste, but nothing was over-powering. The service matched every other aspect of this company. The service was quick, efficient, and extremely friendly. They were all smiling, which was important to me because I don't want to see a frown on my wedding day… Overall I feel that Taste Buds was the right choice for our wedding and would recommend them to anyone and everyone! And not to mention their restaurant in Sedona offers cooking classes (Which I took a couple and made the dishes at home and it was delicious!).
