The Lakeside area provides fairy tale scenery for any wedding ceremony, reception or cocktail hour. As the lake reflects the landscape off its sparkling water, you are given a look into the beauty of Savannah’s countryside, while listening to the soothing sound of two fountains running in the water. Pictures at the lakeside capture wonderful moments, as cool shade and marvelous light is provided by the mighty pines as the sun goes down.
The Lakeside can sit 150 guests for a ceremony.

Walking distance from The Mackey House is the enchanting oak grove, home to 300-year-old oak trees and offering a mystical, open-air experience for you and guests. Oak trees are specific to the South, and they put the finishing touch on any Savannah event. Hold a company picnic, say your vows, or take photos beneath the embracing arms of the majestic oak trees for a truly captivating setting.

With its brick walkways lined with large tropical ferns, palms, and beautiful flowers, the garden is a serene area for mingling, ceremonies, or dining al fresco. As you walk through the garden, you will find wooden swings scattered about and a grand fountain standing as the centerpiece, creating a peaceful ambiance for any event. The garden is also home to the whimsical yet elegant wedding arbor. The arbor is placed in a grassy area of the garden, with a backdrop of towering trees and a sparkling lake.
The garden can hold a ceremony for up to 250 guests, with more seating available with additional planning.

As you come around the bend of the driveway framed with towering oak, fern, and palm trees, you are greeted by The Mackey House, a remarkable Southern mansion with its own chapter in Savannah’s history. Its grand staircase leads you up into the home with beautifully decorated, spacious rooms, bride and groom rooms to get ready in, and a kitchen fit to serve buffets and hors d’oeuvres. As you step out onto the large, 2,600 sq. ft. deck, you are welcomed by panoramic views of the entire venue, including the perfectly manicured garden, open-air pavilion, immense fountain, and glistening lake. The deck is covered by a large, draping canopy, and beneath it features a lit dance floor, DJ booth, and bar.
The deck can fit up to 180 guests. Round tables that fit 8 people are provided for seating, with 16 tables fitting on the deck with the dance floor in use, 19 with the dance floor not in use, and 22 if there is no bar or dance floor in use. Tables can also be set up in the garden if needed.

Beneath the shade of pine and palm trees, the Pavilion sits right outside the garden and is home to a grand, double-sided fireplace creating a beautifully classic setting. Often used for cocktail hours, dining, full ceremonies, and more, the Pavilion’s open layout offers alluring views straight into the flowered garden and up at The Mackey House. Since the Pavilion can be air conditioned or heated, clear vinyl sides can be dropped down to give the Pavilion a cozy feel during the winter or to protect against inclement weather.
In the Pavilion, up to 250 guests can comfortably mingle, 136 guests can be seated for a plated dinner, and 170 guests can be seated for a buffet or heavy hors d’oeuvres. Two restrooms are also available in the Pavilion.
