Designed in 1914 by architect Hyman Wallace Witcover as the Chatham Artillery Armory, this historic site rests on the south side of picturesque Forsyth Park. The Ballroom is a large open space that can accommodate 300 people, seats 240, and has a large stage capable of hosting a 14-piece band. The high ceilings and beautiful hardwood floors create a blank canvas suitable for any social event or public performance. The Ballroom also features a full-service bar that comes staffed with experienced bartenders serving all types of beer, wine, and liquor. Choose from our standard selections, or we are happy to special order nearly any brand. Due to licensing requirements, all alcohol must be purchased from us and served by our licensed bartenders. You are welcome to have a cash bar, open bar, or a combination of the two, the choice is yours.
