Listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and perched atop the iconic Santa Monica Pier, the Merry Go-Round Building is one fo the most unique event settings in the world. Event capabilities range from large private affairs (capacity up to 330 people indoors, up to 500 when outdoor deck area is added) to intimate semi-private children's parties. The carousel room was great! The kids at the party had such a great time riding the carousel. Soda jerks in the carousel room does an ice cream party for $3 pp. It was only a small single scoop sundae but the kids really enjoyed it. Ann, the woman who cordoned for us was so nice and helpful. My only complaint was that we were suppose to have a party attendant ( nate) but never saw him. I didn't need him but would have been nice to know he was there had I needed him.
