About Novo Restaurant and Lounge
Originally built as a late 19th century cigar factory in the heart of downtown San Luis Obispo, today Novo Restaurant and Lounge provides a number of spaces that each boast their own singular energy that will make a long-lasting impression on your wedding day.
The Lounge at Novo combines the liveliness of a bar with striking romanticism. Warm gold walls on one side perfectly contrast the the factory’s original exposed brick, creating an alluring backdrop for the local art and copper tables finished with a rustic patina.
The Cellar -- which houses over 2,500 wines -- is the ideal choice for more intimate occasions. Muted lighting highlights the unique decor, including over 20 mirrors and beautiful Syrian lamps. You can even find a safe from the original cigar factory, which features a stunning copper impressed door.
The beautiful open-air patios nestled along the creekside are what Novo is truly known for. The colorful Latin Patio enjoys bridge views and is filled with lights and antique bird cages, while the intimate Garden Brick Patio offers a lovely ambiance with its climbing vines and lush greenery. The expansive Grappolo Patio, complete with lamps and beautiful views of the creek, is a favorite pick for ceremonies and receptions.
