Don't let the outside of the Verdi Club building fool you--a world of good food, great drinks, and fun times await on the hardwood floors of the ballroom inside! Located off of Mariposa and Bryant Streets in the Mission District, the Verdi Club hosts several kinds of events--book clubs, art gatherings, dance lessons, concerts, reunions, and weddings. All are equally at home in the vintage, cozy atmosphere. Enter through the foyer to see a historic bar on your left, with kitschy furniture, a knowledgeable bartender at the helm and all the spirits you can handle. Pass through the bar to see the main room (ballroom) complete with a stage, chandeliers, old-world wall sconces and plenty of seating. This room can accommodate up to 150 comfortably--with plenty of space for dancing! Head upstairs to see the meeting room, powder room, and family photos. Need catering? Enjoy the finest Italian food of your choosing, including chicken marsala, meatballs, and delightful fish entrees. If your party is big enough, the venue will include the cost of catering with the facility rental (inquire within)! The staff is friendly, responsive, easy-going, and will practically bend over backwards to ensure that you have the party of your dreams.
