LEVYstudio is the sunny, spacious SoMa home of LEVYdance – and our pride and joy. Once a stone refinery, now a creative incubator and community space, LEVYstudio was fully renovated in 2016 to become more functional and flexible than ever, and it remains one of the most affordable rental spaces in the Bay Area. Fully movable walls let the 3,000-square-foot studio morph to accommodate endless uses, from classes and conferences to photo shoots and private events. Our sparkling sprung wood floor enhances performance and is refinished with low-VOC finish. Top-tier lighting and sound equipment allows production values rivaling professional theater venues, and walls can be fully mapped for 360-degree projection. These beautifully appointed facilities are ADA-compliant to serve the whole of our community.
