Pricing for all event types
Exclusive Resort with 34 bedrooms (150 overnight capacity, 200 event capacity): $29,500 to $39,500 for three night stay, price depends on # of weekend nights.
Terms and Conditions
For Reservations Under $10,000: 50% down payment to confirm reservation 50% due 45 days before arrival. For Reservations $10,000+: 25% down payment to confirm reservation 25% due 90 days before arrival 50% due 45 days before arrival ------ Cancellation Policy *For 95% refund, cancellation must be made within 48 hours of original reservation date & time and at least 30 days prior to our property’s local check-in time (5pm). After 48 hours, 50% becomes non-refundable. *For a 50% REFUND of total booking price, cancellation must be made 45+ days prior to our property’s local check-in time (5pm). Regardless of the amount paid, 50% of total booking is forfeited and non-refundable. If remaining balance is not paid by the 45th day prior to check-in date, your reservation will be cancelled automatically by 5pm and 50% of your total booking will be forfeited. You may book the property by paying the remaining balance due ONLY if the rental inventory is still available. *For a 25% REFUND of total booking price, guest must cancel between 14 to 29 days prior to prior to our property’s local check-in time (5pm). 75% is non-refundable. *Guest will be refunded all cleaning fees if the reservation is cancelled the day before arrival.

Group dinners at our 40’ live edge table, break out sessions, meetings and social events can be easily spread out through the resort or held all in a single space outdoors or indoors in our Sanctuary rental. For ceremonies, large breakouts, and team building experiences, our 1000 sq ft event tent area is perfect!

Our outdoor bamboo garden has a canopy to shade you from the sun and is located in the center of our acre wide resort near downtown San Diego. It is a private 675 sq ft open lounge setting that is perfect for hosting friends, family, or business meetings. Wifi is excellent, our BBQ's are 9k BTU's and 12k BTU's respectively. The two 50" tv's have hook ups for laptops and streaming apps, perfect for slide shows, sports, or YouTube. CAPACITY: Hosts up to 50 guests, comfortably seats 40. Welcome to Grass is Greener Event Space! We offer 2 event tents for groups up to 150 guests. You will have private use of 1 or 2 event tents; depending on your group size. Perfect for a variety of events: - birthday party - wedding party - wedding banquet - comedy show - conference - corporate retreat team building FOOD: Event space includes a 18' wide by 40' long space for food truck parking. You are welcome to invite a food truck or caterer to pull up directly next to your event tents. We have a list of recommendations, please inquire. (Note, Good Life Resorts does not provide the actual food truck). ALCOHOL: We offer competitively priced alcohol packages from our distributor that is hassle free! Events over 50 people require alcohol purchased through us. A private bartender is also highly encouraged! KID FRIENDLY: We allow kids to enjoy our spaces. Parents must monitor their children and take full responsibility for any damages incurred. BATHROOMS: 1 ADA bathroom will be provided for up to 70 guests. 2 bathrooms will be provided for 71+ guests. SAFETY & ADA ACCESS: Our event spaces at Good Life Vacation Rental Resort are within the hotel boundaries and have access via lift or flat landing. Walkways are ada compliant. Exiting and fire path plans follow local compliance. This is not a backyard; it's a legal hotel. Historic church designed by Irving Gill, famed architect and inventor of "modern architecture" in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Converted during 2022, the amazing space boasts unique arches with double hung windows, an 80 foot long brick wall and original hardwood floors from 1909. Interior includes wide open 70' long interior with 13' high brick wall. Full kitchen with 40' live edge table is perfect for team meetings, birthday dinners and special events.
