Several times a year I must travel to attend conferences and seminars for my job. I recently returned from one such event in San Diego where we were fortunate to have the DoubleTree Hotel San Diego Mission Valley as our venue. After a brief ride from the airport, I was warmly greeted by the hotel staff who immediately helped me with my bags. Of course I was looking forward to my delicious complimentary cookie, and they certainly delivered on that! As part the conference planning committee, I was booked a room on the penthouse level of the hotel, and I can tell you that this was such a treat! The room was very spacious and clean. The penthouse lobby offered a complimentary breakfast in the morning and a cocktail hour in the evening. After returning from the days events, I would return to my room with a warm cookie placed on my pillow. The conference rooms, themselves, definitely accommodated all of our needs. The hotel staff was readily available and assured that meals and snacks were prepared and ready for our large group. The catering was very delicious, and of course, you can never have too many of their wonderful cookies! Each evening, my team and I were able to walk to an array of local restaurants. There was also a trolley stop directly across the street, so access to downtown and other areas of the city was super convenient! Overall, the conference was a great success, and much of that is owed to the wonderful staff at the DoubleTree Hotel San Diego Mission Valley!
