About Oakland House Museum

The Oakland House is a completely restored mansion built in 1853 by Louis A. Benoist, a pioneer banker. The house is owned and maintained by the Affton Historical Society whose 'Brick and Mortar' gang did the restoration starting back in the 1970s. The Oakland House is a private, intimate venue centrally located in a park like setting in St, Louis County. It is available for weddings, receptions, parties, luncheons, and more!
