-Booking and Payments-Total payment for services will be determined at time of hire. A non-refundable retainer of half total balance or $600 minimum is due on date of hire. Remaining balance is due in full at least one-month prior to event. If hiring date is within one month of event then the total balance is due in full at time of hire. Payment plan options are available for balance as needed.
-Cancelation By Hiring Party- If the hiring party is to cancel, they agree to forfeit their non-refundable retainer and/or any payments already made. The hiring party agrees to pay remaining balance due in full if the event is canceled within Sixty (60) days of event plus an additional $250 for liquidated damages. Date changes are considered cancelation.
-Access for Setup and Takedown- Thomas Hinds Entertainment does not guarantee an arrival time. A two-hour minimum time frame is required for setup at the venue. A one-hour minimum time frame for takedown is required at the venue. Hiring party is responsible for booking time accordingly with the venue.
-Power- Hiring party will provide a dedicated power source of 15 amps at 120 volts AC electrical power within fifty (50) feet of stage area for each set of services. Thomas Hinds Entertainment is not responsible for loss of power, or the inability to fulfill contractual agreement due to loss of power, nor power problems at the location of the event. If generator is required there is an additional charge.
-Internet Access- Where Xfinity internet or good cell service is not available hiring party will ensure, and provide reliable internet access with minimum download speeds of 35 Mbps and upload speeds of 8 Mbps. Hiring party will provide access to venue Wi-Fi if needed. THE DJ Co. will not be responsible for lack of music where a quality internet connection is not available.
-Weather and Outdoor Events- For outdoor events adequate cover and shade for all DJ equipment will be provided by hiring party. Hiring party acknowledges that performance of THE DJ Co. may be compromised by outdoor temperatures over 95 degrees, and that THE DJ Co. is not liable for loss of performance. In the event of rain, the hiring party will provide a platform 4 inches high, and 6 x6 sq. feet; along with a sold rain cover for equipment. These requirements apply to all areas of the event where equipment will be placed.
