Weddings Your fairy tale wedding, in a mansion built in 1870. For over 60 years, the Shadow Lawn Inn has been host to intimate weddings and celebrations of love. Exclusivity of your chosen venue, delicious menus, beautiful grounds, and accommodations for overnight guests are just some of the reasons to hold a wedding at the Shadow Lawn Inn. Ceremony If you chose to have your ceremony at the Inn, it can be held inside in front of our main fireplace or outside on our picturesque lawn. Ceremony fee includes set-up of chairs with an aisle, signature table & two chairs and sound system for officiant, if needed. (Officiant is not included for the ceremony) Cocktails & Dinner Event space rental fees are relative to the date and number of guests celebrating. All food and beverage must be supplied by the Shadow Lawn Inn, except for a cake, if you are having one. Your cocktail reception with passed or stationed hors d’oeuvres can be enjoyed in one of our event spaces or in the gardens. For dinner, we offer a four-course menu, consisting of one soup, salad, and dessert for the group. Guests can pre-select their main course from several options. A large selection of wines, appealing to all palates, is available. Continue to Celebrate Your traditional first dance as a married couple can be enjoyed in front of the Inn’s main foyer; however, the Inn does not offer space for the group to dance. You and/or your family & friends can take advantage of the nine (9) suites, should they wish to spend the night. For any group above 40 people, you benefit from exclusivity to the inn. Exclusivity ensures all event space is yours for the day, including all nine (9) suites at the Inn.
