Tuckahoe Plantation, boyhood home of Thomas Jefferson, is a National Historic Landmark and considered by architectural historians to be among the finest early 18th-century plantation homes in America. William Randolph had the Main House built between 1733 and 1740. The almost 300 year-old wood paneling, pine floors, large windows, and period furniture provide an authentic historic atmosphere for intimate events. The Main House can accommodate up to 50 guests (seated), and is also an option for Bridal Parties as a private dressing space. Due to the landmark status, the Main House cannot accommodate larger parties, red wine, spiked/stiletto heels, or other possibly harmful factors determined by management.
