About The John Marshall Ballrooms
The Historic John Marshall Ballrooms offer a lovely venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate parties, gala/fundraisers, and other special occasions. There are two stunning ballrooms, a pre-function lobby space, bridal suites, overnight guest suite, and lounge-like club room for smaller events, VIP parties, and groomsmen hangout.
An $80 million renovation has restored our two stunning ballrooms and lobby to their original 1920’s grandeur. A neutral color palette allows each couple to transform the ballrooms to their own unique vision. Under the brightly lit rooftop marquee you will find the Marshall Ballroom basking in natural light with 30’ windows and nine crystal vintage chandeliers seating up to 150 guests with dance floor; and the grand Virginia Ballroom with its wrap around balcony, original hardwood flooring, and multi-level chandeliers to accommodate larger parties of 150 or more (up to 350 seated).
Saturday evening rental for the Virginia Ballroom is $6,500, the Marshall Ballroom is $4,500 and the Lobby is $600 for a cocktail hour. *We offer an amazing Friday venue discount of $3,500 (Marshall Ballroom with Lobby) or $4,500 (Virginia Ballroom with Lobby). The venue pricing includes tables, chairs, champagne damask linens, Old English patterned silverware, bone china, and sparkling, crystal glassware. Catering depends on guest count and selections but a good estimate is $100-115 per person to include food, open bar, staffing, taxes, and service charge.
