About Fort Bend Museum

Originally built in 1883 for John and Lottie Moore, this lovely mansion was re-designed in the Classical Revival style of architecture in 1905. Designated a Registered Texas Historic Landmark in 1962, the Moore Home retains all the elegance and charm of a bygone era. The Moore Home's gracious exterior, veranda, and manicured grounds are available for wedding ceremonies and receptions, private parties, luncheons and corporate meetings.
