Where do I start? This place is beautiful! We decided to have the event by the lakeside and it was perfect. I remember driving past this place a few years ago thinking that it was beautiful and when we got engaged it was the first place we went too. We worked with Karen and she was great. I am the type of person that wanted to relinquish all control to a planner, i told her the colors and the theme i wanted and she handled the rest. She told us where to show up to taste cake and approve flowers. I told her i basically wanted to show up the day of and get married and didn't want to have to deal with ANYTHING. She mad that happen. We went with a smothered chicken dinner or shrimp pasta. the food was great. The only issue we had was we ran out or red wine... Bummer, but they gave decided to throw in the toasting Champagne for free because of that which was very kind of them. It was great just to be able to show and truly enjoy my day with no stress as well as my family. i feel that the families take a lot of stress the day of to ensure it all goes well and Karen made sure that EVERYTHING was taken care of.
