The Bearclaw at Sundance is located in a quaint little resort town founded by Robert Redford. The location is unbelieveably beautiful. Even the parking lots are breathtaking as you pull up to the mountain location. Mixed woodland trees surround the property as well as streams, wildlife, greenery and rock formations. This venue is pretty enough to use for a wedding, but sophisticated enough to use for a business retreat. Located atop Timpanogos Mountain, there is a 360 degree view of both the Heber and the Utah Valley. There is also a beautiful view of the Wastach Mountains from the Bearclaw. The views and the landscaping are not the only things that are remarkable about the Bearclaw, however. The food and the decor of this restaurant are impeccable. White linen table cloths and long stemmed glasses adorn each table as the attentive staff make you aware of the food and wine choices available. Melt in your mouth steaks and tender fresh seafood are just the start of the wide menu that includes an impressive wine list. Private parties are the specialty of the Bearclaw, so you must make reservations in order to enjoy this gem. The only problem with this venue is the cost. If you do not have fairly loose purse strings you are not going to want to call the Bearclaw, though if you do decide to splurge and spend the money you will not regret it. The experience is once in a lifetime and you will never forget the beauty, service, and cuisine.
