The RMU Island Sports Center offers a variety of ice time rentals on our indoor NHL & Olympic regulation size rinks as well as on our unique Open-Air rink, starting early in the morning to late into the evening. Hourly rates vary per rink, time of year and day of the week. Times can be rented in a minimum of a one hour slot and then 1/2 hour increments added to the first hour if the time is available.

Get out of the rain, cold, heat, or darkness and play your favorite sport inside our facility. Call to rent time on our two open-air multi-purpose rinks: Stadium Rink and Garden Rink. Both rinks have a Sports Court surface that can accommodate inline skating, deck hockey, box lacrosse, box soccer and a variety of other sports and activities. The Stadium Rink is an ice surface from October through March. The Garden Rink is Sports Court year-round. These rinks can be booked months in advance, so please contact us as early as possible.

Before and after golf hours at the dome, the field is available for hourly rental. The 100 x 80 yard surface (laid out as two fields) is covered with an innovative turf product called FieldTurf, which consists of a two-inch deep nylon grass filled and supported by pulverized rubber and sand. FieldTurf virtually eliminates the injuries and skin burns caused by typical turfs, and has been judged by Sports Illustrated Magazine to be 50% safer than natural grass itself! Some of the sports the dome has been used for include soccer, men's and girl's softball, lacrosse, youth baseball, flag football, gymnastics, canine agility trials, corporate Olympics and several of RMU Island Strength's workout sessions/ clinics. Whole dome and half dome rentals are available 7 days a week. Contact the Director of the Sports Dome to schedule your team's practice in our climate controlled dome all year long or to find out more about programs held in the Dome.
