The Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh offers contracted events for parties of 40 or more guests. We do not charge a room rental fee, but we do have a food and beverage minimum that must be satisfied on one check for all contracted events. The food and beverage minimums are determined by the date and time of your event, as well as the event space needed and your approximate guest count at the time of booking your event.

A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your event's time and date. Full payment is due at the conclusion of the event. Payment may be made with credit card, cash, cashier's check, or company check.
MINIMUM: Event minimums will be assessed for all contracted events held at the Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh. This minimum includes all food and beverage consumed on the property. This minimum is subject to change based on factors including but not limited to, day of week, time of day, time of year, party size and location. These minimums are not inclusive of sales tax and gratuity If the booking party fails to meet the minimum, the difference between the subtotal and the specified minimum will be charged as a ROOM FEE.
MENU SELECTION: Hofbrauhaus has several packages and options for private events. These are pre-set menus, and will require pre-ordering of all menu selections, individual entrée and dessert selection 14 days prior to your event.
Your group has until 7 days prior to your event to provide Hofbräuhaus with a guaranteed guest number. You will be charged for the guaranteed number or the number who attend, whichever is greater.
A $100 room set up fee will be charged for all events that require the table configuration to be changed Contracted events are booked with a 3 hour window. $500 will be charged for each additional hour that is added to your event.
All food and beverage items are subject to a 7% sales tax and 20% gratuity. Payment is applied at the conclusion of the event. Tax exempt organizations must supply tax exempt ID # at time of booking.
Contracted Parties are not eligible for Loyalty Program Points. Payment cannot be made with Pre-purchased discounted gift cards from Warehouse Clubs such as Costco and Sam's Club on contracted events.
The contracted amount is an estimate based on your party's food selection and estimated bar bill. You are responsible for any additional costs that are incurred.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE: All food, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages must be prepared and supplied by the Hofbrauhaus. A $25 service fee will be applied for all cakes and cookies brought in for events.
EVENT CHANGES: Changes can be made to the menu up to 2 weeks prior to your event. The Hofbräuhaus must approve any changes to the menu and reserves the right to refuse any menu changes.
DECORATIONS: Decorating is permitted; however, nothing is to be attached to the walls or hung from the ceilings. One hour prior to your event start time is allotted for decorating purposes. The booking party is responsible for removing all decorations at the conclusion of the event.
FORCE MAJEURE: Hofbrauhaus will not be held liable for any failure of or delay in this performance agreement when acts of God (i.e. natural disaster) , labor troubles, national emergencies, non-availability of food or beverage supplies or any other event beyond the reasonable control of management and ownership occur.
50% of the food and beverage minimum will be charged as a cancellation fee for any cancellation within 30 days of your event date. The full food and beverage minimum will be charged for any events canceled within 7 days of your event. I have read the above contract and agree to the terms and conditions as well as any terms and conditions on any contract addendum's which I may sign.
